THERAPY WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

The orders of love workshop was amazing. There's an undeniable truth that comes from doing the constellation work. It was a chance for me to view issues in my life that were unclear or confusing. I was stuck in many ways and the workshop provided the opportunity to stay where I was or go forward in a meaningful way. There's a lot of work to be done but complacency is no longer an option. I owe a big thank you to Andy for her patience and clear-cut insight. Orders of Love workshops involve around 20 people who wish to gain insight into deeply-felt personal issues in a confidential and safe environment, and take new steps to restore order to their intimate relationships.

Not all people who come will want to use the support of the group to explore their own issue. The length of each workshop means that not everyone will have the chance to constellate their own family. Many prefer initially to engage with the work as observers and as participants in others' constellations, acting in service to the work by creating and taking care of the emotional space for this deep work.

For issue-holders, the work begins in the group with a short conversation with the therapist. After describing what you wish to be different in your life, you will be invited to select people to represent certain of your family members. By positioning these representatives in a special grouping (called a constellation) you step aside to witness the therapist working to make the underlying dynamics of your situation more visible.

Resolutions are possible as transformational new perspectives emerge from the constellated family system. These can enable you to move forward to a new future with a clearer understanding and a more open heart.

Sometimes a synchronous shift takes place in the real family that has been constellated. It is not yet understood how this happens, although research is continuing into this mysterious phenomenon.
